Tarun Chugh, BJP National General Secretary and Prabhari for Jammu & Kashmir, visited the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election war room established in Channi Himmat, Jammu, to oversee preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Accompanied by key party leaders, Chugh conducted a thorough inspection of the facilities designed for press conferences and media communications. The visit was marked by the presence of prominent figures, including MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Chairman of the Election Campaign Committee; Ashish Sood, Seh-Prabhari of J&K BJP; R.P. Singh and Shazia Ilmi, BJP National Spokespersons; Aseem Gupta, Convener of the Election Management Committee; and Pawan Khajuria, Co-Convener of the Election Management Committee and BJP Vice President of J&K.
Chugh expressed his satisfaction with the war room’s infrastructure, praising its capacity to counter opposition misinformation and propaganda. He emphasized that the facility would play a crucial role in showcasing the BJP’s programs, policies, and the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, ensuring effective campaign planning and execution.
“The war room will serve as the nerve center of our electoral strategy in Jammu & Kashmir,” Chugh noted. “It will facilitate coordination of outreach activities, monitor opposition tactics, and address challenges and misinformation swiftly.”
He also highlighted the war room’s role in streamlining communication between the party and the electorate, ensuring consistent messaging and effective dissemination of the BJP’s vision for development and progress in the Union Territory.
Chugh stressed the importance of media relations in modern campaigning, stating, “This war room will not only focus on internal strategy but also engage proactively with the media.”
In a confident statement, Chugh announced that the BJP’s election manifesto would be unveiled from this war room in the coming days, signaling the party’s commitment to a clear and impactful vision for Jammu & Kashmir’s future.
