Retired Judicial Officers Association Felicitates Justice Tashi Rabstan as Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court

The executive body of the Retired Judicial Officers Association, led by Harbans Lal, former District & Sessions Judge, extended warm felicitations to Justice Tashi Rabstan, who recently assumed office as the 37th Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

During the gathering, the members of the association discussed various issues related to the welfare of retired judicial officers and apprised the Chief Justice of the ongoing activities and initiatives of the Association. They also lauded Justice Rabstan for his proactive approach towards the upgradation of the judicial apparatus in the Union Territories, with a focus on ensuring that justice reaches the most vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of society.

In response, Chief Justice Rabstan expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized his commitment to upholding justice and fairness. He remarked, “It is an honour to step into this role, and I am deeply committed to upholding the values of justice, fairness, and integrity. Together, we can work towards a judiciary that not only meets the needs of our community but also sets a benchmark for excellence.”

The event concluded with a strong call for unity and cooperation among members of the judicial community, highlighting the shared goal of fostering a just and equitable society.
