The Government SPMR College of Commerce emerged as the champions in the Inter-College Boxing (Men’s) Tournament, organized under the aegis of Cluster University of Jammu today. The event, which showcased some of the best boxing talent from various colleges, concluded with intense bouts and fierce competition.

Also present at the event were Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director of Physical Education & Sports at Jammu University, who attended as the guest of honour. The occasion also saw the participation of Prof. Pawan Gupta, Dr. Chetna Gupta, Prof. Sanjeev Verma, Dr. Arun Sharma, and Kajal Permi, Physical Director of GCW Gandhi Nagar, among other dignitaries.

The tournament was conducted under the supervision of Ravi Kumar, Physical Director at Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, alongside the college’s Sports Committee. In a highly competitive final, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce clinched the winner’s title, while MAM College secured the runners-up position. The matches were officiated by a team of experienced referees, including Harinderpal Singh, Rishiv Sharma, Anil Chib, Sandeep Singh, and Hardesh Singh, ensuring a fair and professional conduct of the tournament.
