Reaffirming the Jammu Municipal Corporation’s (JMC) dedication to enhancing civic amenities within municipal limits, Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav today announced a significant step forward in urban development. During an inspection at the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) store, the Commissioner highlighted ongoing efforts to improve the city’s street-lighting infrastructure.
As part of this initiative, JMC has received 4,570 streetlights from EESL. Dr. Yadav emphasized that these additions are expected to significantly enhance safety and illumination throughout the city of temples. “The improved lighting infrastructure will not only address visibility concerns but also contribute to a safer urban environment,” he stated.
