The Round Square International Sports Collaboration 2024 successfully concluded at KC Public School, bringing together participants from Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun, and Sai International Residential School, Cuttack. The event, initiated in 2023, aims to foster internationalism, cultural exchange, and team dynamics by uniting Round Square Schools on a non-competitive sports platform.
This year’s collaboration featured sports such as Cricket, Badminton, and Swimming, held at KC Public School’s modern facilities. Swimming competitions took place at the Shri Sudershan Aquatic Centre, while Badminton matches were hosted at the KC Sports Club, both located in Jammu.
The closing ceremony was attended by Sunaina Mehta, Joint Director of J&K Tourism, and Sandeep Mehta, SSP Crime, Jammu. Both dignitaries praised the event, offering warm greetings to the delegates and expressing their hope that the participants had a memorable experience, enriched by the vibrant culture of Jammu & Kashmir.
Principal AK Mishra, in his closing remarks, extended his gratitude to the visiting schools for their participation and expressed pride in the successful hosting of the second edition of this international sports collaboration. He emphasized the importance of such events in promoting unity, cultural diversity, and global understanding among students.
